WITH reference to Sir Maurice de Bunsen's despatch No. 41, Commercial, of the 3rd ultimo and Lord Lansdowne's telegram No. 9 of the 16th May, 1905, I have the honour to report that the Treaty between Portugal and China, signed at Shanghae on the 11th November, 1904, was yesterday laid before the Cortes for ratification. I would call special attention to Article 6, which deals with the treatment of port wine.
